A mule has a horse for a mother and a donkey for a father. A hinny has a donkey mom and a horse dad. When these animals were used as work animals, a distinction had to be made because mules were considered stronger animals.
Mules and donkeys are called "long ears" for obvious reasons. They are wonderful equines with high intelligence. They are very careful and often get a "stubborn" reputation when they are just being cautious. They are often the most abused of all equines because people do not take the time to learn who they are.
Maggie B, and Sugar had been abandoned and neglected. Posey was in the auction ring with a full sized man riding her and hittting her in the face with a coiled rope to make her spin in circles. None of these girls trust people very much.
Would you consider sponsoring one of these beautiful longears?
Thank you, Dorothy, for your donation.
