Yawn!!

It's bad enough when you can't sleep at 3 AM but with the time change now I can't sleep at 2 AM. The past two days have been so busy. Horsework, Fire Safe Council work, horsework, getting ready for the Thrift Store and did I mention horsework?
Jim, Brian, Ron, Aaron and Amy went to get some donated hay yesterday. They left about 10 AM and we expected them back about 2. At 6 PM in they came, tired, sore and with some beautiful hay.
In the meantime Helen and I had done some looking and getting of a couple of things needed for the new store. As we fed Helen noticed Promise was down . Colic!!! Some Bute and lots of walking later, she seemed better, so Ron and Helen could leave to care for their critters.
It's supposed to rain, which means the hay needs covering, some horses need blanketing and some need to come in.
Volunteers should be here today. More stalls to muck and horses to groom.
The sanctuary will be closed Sundays Nov. 14 and 28.
There will be a Board meeting here Sun. the 21. Call for information 530-514-1439.
