We stayed above the fog most of the day. It would creep in at ground level, but then burn off. We had to go to Oroville and we got there before I remembered the banks were closed. Good old Tractor Supply was open, though, so the critters got a couple of days worth of food.
Sparkle and Rosie were out today. Now Sparkle and Juan love Rosie. Every where Rosie went her boys were right behind her.
I'm just going to write and it can be wherever it wants.
Jonathan was down again today. When he gets cast he gets so tired. He's a good boy and lets us help him up. He's peeking out from behind the propane tank.
Jessie isn't afraid of the camera any more. Doesn't she have a sweet face? Would you like to be her sponsor?
Juan and Jim gossip around the water tank.
Marnie loves to stay in. I'm sure he goes out to get a drink, but usually he's right in the barn waiting for food.
Bobbie came in for breakfast and dinner today. Her buddies Cricket and Lucky stayed with the big herd.
On Saturday Sparkle waited at this tank for water. It was empty. Jim was on the porch and Sparkle sent him messages-I need a drink-HERE. There are other tanks, but this is Sparkle's favorite. Soon Jim heard him and filled it for him. Sparkle put his head on Jim's chest to say Thank You.
Have you ever seen a muddier pair? Moon Dancer and Frankie are competing for the muddiest horse award.
Rosie and Sparkle are competing, too.
Julian and Banjoe are now called the Moos Brothers.
Gracie found a sun spot and soon was down for a nap.
Tess and Amira with Jesse in the background enjoy the hay wagon.
Quite a few bales get pulled to the ground. We know it wastes some, but we love that they can get all they want.
