Dancing Drum Wed. Dec 2 2009

Dancing Drum (Dancer) is an off the track Thoroughbred who won a few races, then was used as a broodmare. When she could no longer have babies she was sent to the auction yard where she broke her leg. Tawnee from NorCal rescued her, then brought her to us. Dancer is a sweet mare who loves to be petted, curried and fed treats. She likes to steal hay from the hay trailer.
She still runs and bucks on occassion, but mostly she just wants attention.
Farrier Aaron Hamon had to build up her front hooves with pads and epoxy because her feet were so worn. He did a fantastic job. You'd never know she had a problem.
Her pasture mate is Pilgrim.
Dancer needs a sponsor. Would you and your friends like to sponsor Dancer? See Monday's blog for sponsoring Dancer.
Thank you for all the interest you have shown. The horses appreciate all you do for them. We love hearing from you.
We now have paypal available. Donna homeatlastsanctuary@gmail.com
