Pilgrim Thurs. Dec. 3 2009

Pilgrim is an off the track the track sorrel Quarter Horse. He is about 12 years old. He fell at the track and injured his knee and back. He was deemed worthless and sent to the auction yard where NorCal rescued him. Due to long hours alone in a stall he has a cribbing habit.
His mane is rubbed off because he and his pasture mate Dancer like to sneak their heads through the fence and eat hay off the trailer.
At first he did not like to be touched, but now he likes pats better than scratches. He loves treats.
He and Dancer race around their turnout when the tractor and trailer bring their food. They eat nose to nose and are very close. Pilgrim can be a little pushy, but Dancer loves him anyway.
Pilgrim needs a sponsor. Would you and your friends like to sponsor him? Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Natalie, for getting PayPal set up.

  1. Yet some people think racing a horse for money then killing it is a good thing. DO you think it is good? Post a answer and why you think that is good or bad. the big answer will be today at 4:30pm!
    Thank you!
