Leeso will be 4 next Spring. He is a tricolored paint gelding. He was rescued by NorCal and brought to us. He has a birth deformity in his back. He looks swayback, but the vet feels he was turned backwards while in utero. His deformity makes him unrideable for adults, but can probably (just had an hour of horse chasing time. At least 10 horses escaped -Leeso included. It's too dark and too dangerous to keep chasing them in the dark, so they'll stay out til morning.) Anyway, Leeso can probably be ridden by a small child, if he gets some training. He's a nice boy, but a little afraid of people. He needs someone to come out and give him lots of love.
Our propery is next to Hiway 70, but we are double fenced, so the horses can run around, but can't get to the road. My flowers will probably be nibbled and trampled, but we can always replant.
Having horses means something always needs to be built, mended, or repaired.
Leeso's best friend is Warrior. They are both young and really have a good time together.
Would you like to help Leeso? Any amount is wonderful. $5.00 buys a 1/2 bale of hay. We appreciate all donations.
Will try to get pictures of the escapees tomorrow.
