The rain was much needed, but everyone was glad to see the sun today. The clouds were breathtaking and the animals were glad to be out and about.
Pilgrim always manages to undo any hay wrapping. He loves to steal the hay next to his stall. He gets so mad when we recover the hay.

Pico the Westphalian wanted to eat breakfast in the barn today, too. He was being trained at Jec Ballou's training stable when he was injured. Jake is so big he needs lots of guards while he naps.
The calves, Banjoe and Julian, still drink three bottles of milk a day, but they eat grass all day. They took a nap in the sun, too.
