Double pictures for some reason. Oh well. Enjoy them.
Everyone enjoyed a nap in the warm sunshine today.
Some more resolutions-
Julian and Banjoe resolve to grow up big and strong and pull a cart with people in it. They eat grass daily and still enjoy a few bottles of milk, too.
The chickens and guineas resolve to sing louder than the donkeys and at all times day or night whether they see anything or not.
There are escape artists at Home At Last. Lady Bug mule is out almost every day. We have braided rope electic wire which is great because it doesn't injure the animal if it gets caught in it. With all the overcast days, however, the fence chargers don't have much zap. It doesn't take long for the word to spread and there are critters everywhere.Warrior and Levi have been playing with the fences, too. Today Levi was out crying and crying to get back in with Daisy. We opened the gate and he ran in and stood with Daisy until we fed them
Cash has an abcess on his foot. Aaron the farrier, cleaned out his hoof, then packed it with cotton balls and medicine. Over that he and wife Amy wrapped a diaper , vet wrap and duct tape. Now Cash gets antibiotics and a little pain medicine and we'll watch him closely. It hasn't disrupted his appetite.

Sometimes just going to the post office makes a person really happy. In the mail today were several wonderful and generous gifts . Thank you Lorie H , Carolene D, Patricia H and Jean N. Your kindnesses will be used to feed the horses.
