Today's greeter is Mac. He's about 12 years old and is a great gentleman. He was found by Beth's mom on the roadside. He came to live with us about 8 years ago. His hips are getting sore, but he loves to play with Keecha and washes Love's ears. He barks at incoming visitors, but wags his nubby tail so hard no one is afraid of him. He spends the nights in with us when it's cold. We think he is part Rottweiler- part Doberman.
This morning was clear and windy. A BEAUTIFUL day.

It was cold.
After feeding and watering there were ditches to be cleared so the water could run off

There were lots of naps being taken today. Banjoe and Julian slept on the back grass. Bobbie slept standing up.

The herd at the top of the turn out stretched out all over.

Love, Keecha and Jim relaxed in the back.

The wind turbine worked hard today. The wind blew most of the day. In fact, we had to turn the turbine off for a while . It's hard work made sure that I could do laundry and the dishes.
This is the power shack that hold all the good stuff that makes the ranch run.
Here are the batteries that store the power.
This is the master computer that runs the whole place. One is labeled master and the other slave. It lets us know how much power is coming in and going out.
Fiesty and Princess spend a lot of their time snuggling and being lovers. It's been great to reconnect with friends from West Covina High School and Cal Poly Pomona. Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts. We love them.
Remember we are a non-profit and can always use donations. Your gifts are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Feeding 50+ horses, donkeys and mules is costly.
