Grace trotted behind the girls for a ways, but then decided to take advantage of the grass in case being out was a mistake. She was taking care of the inner horse. Usually, Ruby and Lexi like their own space, but today they were best buddies. They stayed close to each other all the time they were out. They went to their own stalls, though, when they went in tonight. Posey is small, but Grace is smaller.
Maggie watches Grace and is jealous because she can't be on the green grass. You could, Maggie, if you would let us catch you. Maggie was so abused that she does not want any human type person near her. She's checking to make sure Love can't get into her pen.
Julian can't believe that people are getting on the back of horses!! What if he's next? Brian checks out Babe to make sure she's ready for Beth. What a great day to ride. Babe is a Pony of the Americas. She's a perfect horse for a Spring outing. Babe and Beth are ready to go.
Beth gets Babe ready for a bath after their ride. It's straw hat weather.
Brian rode with me to feed tonight and got some great pictures. As soon as I figure out how to get them to my computer I'll share with you. Maggie's feed had to ride on top of the tractor to keep it from marauding calves.
The dogs started Spring cleaning early. They took all their blankets out for an airing. I hope it stays warm for a few days while their blankets freshen. There are two ways you can help Home At Last. iGive is having a special sign-up offer on Wed March 24 starting at noon Chicago time. (that's 9AM here I believe). They will give Home At Last $1.00 for every person who signs-up and visits a site of one of their more than 700 stores. They are giving away $5,000.00 to non-profits all over the country so you will have to be one of the first to sign-up for us to get any money. Don't do it early or the special deal won't count. Go to http://www.igive.com/homeatlastsanctuary. If you sign up ahead of time or too late for the special offer Home At Last will still get a donation for every sale made . This is a great way for you to shop and help us at the same time. Thank you.

Another way to help is to order fly predators from Spaulding Labs at 1-800-955-5183 or http://www.fly-predators.com/. Mention Home At Last code 96362 and they will make a donation to us. These little critters really help keep the fly population down. Thank you again.
