Thiurs and Fri 11, 12 2010

Thurday was a beautiful day. We got a lot done outside, but I was coughing so much that Jim dosed me with cough medicine after dinner and I was asleep with in minutes, so here is 2 days' worth of blogs.
Princess and Fiesty keep guard on the living room from their recliner thrones. They still are not so sure that dogs and goats belong in THEIR house.

Jim gets a warm and friendly Good Morning when he lets out the calves in the morning. They love to be petted. Banjoe want to make sure he leaves nothing in the bucket.
On the way to the lower well Jessie naps While Jenny plays hide and seek.
Trixie and Tess meander down to the lower well every day. They came down here the first day they were out. They are really adventuresome. We have had some horses for 2 years who have never come down.
The lower part of our property is not as rocky and steep as the upper part. There is plenty of room for everyone of they would only venture down here.

You better enjoy Thursday's sunshine, Mr S because Friday is supposed to be stormy. Today-Friday- is wet and miserable out, so after chores, Jim went to get hay, Beth went to school and I stayed in with Mr. S. Mr. S doesn't mind rainy days. He can keep busy inside.

The trash looks like fun. Fiesty finds Mr. S fascinating. Here is something who can get into more trouble than he does. Mr. S is willing to share with the cats and even play with them, but so far they have kept their distance. When the weather is bad, what else is there to do but clean out the pantry? When all was said and done the pantry was straight. It will probably last until dinner time, when no one can find what they are looking for and everything will go flying. Thank you to our faithful donators . Because of you we can plan for the month.

We can use more help. Anyone who wants to support a cause that really does what we say we do should consider donating to Home At Last. Starting Mon. when 3 of our foster horses come home we will be using 9 bales of hay a day. That's $90.00 a day just for hay. Then we have grain and special feed for the toothless and thin. Can you help?
