Tues April 13 2010

This morning after only two hours of sleep last night (on the couch because of snoring-Jim- and wild racing thoughts -mine) I woke up to rain. RAIN!!! The weather man promised a sunny day. Rain everywhere-YUCK and more mud and cranky horses. It even made this Pollyanna cranky. Just when I thought I would grump the day away
and when the ladies on the screen were complaining about the wet stuff
In came my favorite cousins. I was an only child and we lived in So Cal. Cousin Loree lived in Yuba City and I always loved when we saw her family. Now we live closer to one another and get to visit more often.

Even though it sprinkled on and off throughout the day my day was filled with sunshine. Even the clouds parted and the light came shining through. We talked non-stop for hours, then Roger and Brian went with Jim to get a load of hay. Yesterday's 10 bales were already gone.

Loree and I went to get Beth and came home to a much brighter sky.

After dinner the sky looked like this

While Jim and Brian discuss the prediction of rain again tomorrow.

Better cover the hay just in case.

There. Now we're ready for more wet stuff.
