Happy Mare's and Mother's Day. Sugar is representing the mares of Home At Last- Amira, Aurora, Babe, Belle, Bobbie, Bonita, Brandie, Breeze Bay, Breezy Summer, Chardonnay, Daisy, Dancing Drum, Grace, Harmony, Jenny, Jessie, Jet, Lacey, Lady Bug, Maggie B, Molly, Moon Dancer, Pearl, Posey, Ruby, Skittles, Sugar, Sunny, Sweetie Pie, Tess and Tiger Lily. The girls outnumber the boys 32 to 25. That's a big herd. It offers a lot of love and a lot of responsibilities.
Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who show up and do the work that needs to be done. They even came today when they could have stayed home and been pampered.

Beth made a photo bouquet for all of you.

Jim fixed a wonderful pasta and shrimp lunch. Jim's mom and I have been best friends since we first met over 45 years ago.

The clouds put on quite a show today, always changing.

Fiesty liked the rose I was given.

It smelled good, too. Yesterday Helen put the saddle on Amira and stood in the stirrups. We don't take pictures when we think it would be intrusive. More beautiful clouds.

We are so touched by the generosity of our friends. Marti, you are a horse angel. Marti had a yard sale and donated part of the proceeds to Home At Last. Helen, Jessie, Rachel, both Joannas, Sarah and Jenny your devotion and time are invaluable. Our donors give so much and we appreciate them deeply. We humbly thank all of you.
