Today was really wet. Just light showers said the weathermen, but the skies unloaded. After morning chores Su picked me up at the end of the driveway. Now I put on my 30 year old London Fog raincoat and stood by the roadside. I guess it was too much to ask that the coat still be waterproof. It wasn't and by the time Su got there I was soaked. Oh well, off we went.
First stop Costco-the store that has more of everything. Then on to lunch at Red Lobster-MMM Clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl.
Su needed a personalized tee shirt so we went to the Mall. I'm not much of a shopper, but I can always find something someone else needs. We stopped by Johnson's Comfort Shoes where Valerie helped Su find a perfect pair of rain boots. I wanted her to get the yellow ones, but she settled for blue.
Then to Socks and More where Dan had the best selection of really cute and unusual socks. Also. some way cool hats.
By then Moe and Erik had Su's tee shirts ready. Their stall is mid Mall in front of Zumis. They can do anything with a tee or sweatshirt.
Next we stopped by Helen's in Oroville to deliver some papers. Things are moving ahead with the Thrift and Gift Store.
Got home in time for evening chores.
Only Lexi and Ruby were out today. Should be nicer tomorrow so the others can have some recess time.
Did you know that cell phone numbers are becoming public? You can call the DO NOT CALL number to have your name removed 1-888-382-1222. Thanks, Hedy.
Pictures tomorrow. Vote for Sparkle.
