Close Ups

Today was a close up day for some of the critters. Navajo knows he has the cutest nose and wants you to see it. He has a lightning mark on his forehead and a snip on his nose. He is a bay gelding about 5-7 years old. He looks like a Quarter horse. Navajo needs a sponsor. He was found starving in a pasture. His two buddies had died. He is a gentle boy who would love to have you sponsor him for $5, $10, $25 or any amount you can afford.

Tucker is a character. He always loves to have his picture taken and likes to be in the middle of everything. The love of his life is Sweetie Pie. He is an Appaloosa mule about 8 years old and has a bowed tendon.

Levi II has become a great pet. He visits with everyone when he is out, and tries to talk us into letting him out every day. He is a beautiful Appaloosa gelding.

Spent most of the day straightening the breezeway. It looks good, but I was too tired to get a picture.
Jesse, Tessie, Amira, Babe and Lacey had their turns to be out today. In the big herd there was a lot of napping. Some on their sides-flat out asleep. Others had their noses on the ground, dozing. The donkeys had rolled in the ashes from Sunday's burn pile. Even Jonathan had ashes on his back. It was probably still a little warm and felt good.
Rose Miller Books and More is worth checking. Great books for everyone.
Vote for Sparkle. It didn't say how many times one can vote, so go for it.
Thank you Eileen G for the blanket. We are ready for the cold weather now. Come on cold. Kill those flies.
