Coming Back Mon. Feb 15 2010

Jim's "man" cold landed on me and it's taken several days for me to reenter the world. The weather has been a big help. Blue skies and warm sunshine makes even a cough OK. Belated Happy Valentine's Day. We certainly share the love here with all the critters. The sun and clear skies are a welcome break from the rain.
Beth made a bouquet to celebrate.

Board members Su and Jerry brought a pie to celebrate Valentine's Day.

It's hard to tell who enjoys the calf petting more- Jim, Julian or Banjoe.

It's still muddy and yucky, but every one is out and about, soaking in the sunshine.

The solar panels are getting to do their job. That means laundry and vacuuming can get done. That's good for house work, but it means I'm inside instead of outside on such a beautiful day. Oh well. The herd is really enjoying the warm, sunny weather.

Tiger Lily's blind eye does not stop her from being one of the "bossy ladies." She pushes her way to where ever she wants to be. "Move it, Tucker, I'm on the move."

Levi and Braveheart check to see what Helen has for them.

Helen is always welcomed by the herd. The horses and minimules love to see her. Cash is one happy boy to get a treat.
I'd like to get some feed back about the blog. What would you like to see or hear about?

Some folks have asked if they can give a one time donation. Of course. The animals can use all the help they can get. We are grateful for any support you can give. It's getting to be vaccination time. Last year we spent $1750.00 on shots alone. Any amount will help us. We also, have a few older ones who are going to need some dental work. Our monthly bills run about $3000.00 to $4000.00 . It can go way up if we have vet emergencies. Thank you for your continuing support. Lin C., Brian C., Lorie H., Carolene D., Cathy S., Mary R. Walt and Ursula C., and all of you who donate anonymously.
