Oh my! Which will I choose? They are all so lovely and feminine looking. This is the new Spring shoe fashion. Notice they are not muck boots, but do have the refined boot laces. They come in one color-mud.
After the chores were done we put on clean clothes and less muddy shoes and headed to Su and Jerry's ranch where Mr. S is visiting. We were greeted by the mariachi group.
This is the warm snuggy stall where Mr. S and his cousins live. They have lots of outdoor time, but can be safe at night. Aren't they the cutest things? They butted heads, played king of the mountain and explored everywhere
Little Mr. S would romp and play, but tires easily. He would stop and rest a minute or two, then be off again. Su is so creative. When she got a loaf of bread that was way to hard to eat, instead of throwing it out, she preserved it as a work of art. I would have fed it to the chickens. More on their beautiful place another day.
We got into our truck and Su and Jerry got into their truck and We all went up the hill to Jarbo Gap To Scooters for food. Leprechaun LA served us a yummy lunch. Friends Linda and Jim showed up and we had a great visit. They are wonderful contributors of the Sanctuary. After lunch we drove to Paradise and to one of our favorite stores. Jeannie's is a great supporter of Home At Last. Shawn greeted us. There is so much good stuff here. And horse tack, too. A crow sat with us at Beth's school. When we got home Aaron and Amy were waiting for us. Babe and Lacey hang out under the tree with Quincy. Jim, Aaron and Amy discuss what day will be good for trims. Sunday sounded best. Thanks, Aaron, for loading the trailer for me. Nine bales a day now. Can anyone spare $5.00 a month to help? Spring is definately in the air. Cajun and Smoke are full of pep.
When horses play it is really "horseplay."
Home At Last could use some water tanks. With the warm weather and the increased herd our supply is limited. Any size will do. Do you have one or two you could donate? Thank you.
