There goes the hay to Quincy. Off the big trailer, on to the little trailer. Off the little trailer and over the fence. Good exercise. Lift, throw. Lift, throw. Get on the tractor, get off the tractor. When the Dr asked if I had a gym membership so I could get regular exercise, I just giggled at him.Why did this turn blue?
Fiesty snoozes the morning away. Noon time clouds. Will it rain and blow like yesterday? Lining up for food. Here comes Sweetie Pie. Look out , everyone. She's on the move. Sweetie Pie is a hackney Pony and loves people. She does not love every horse. She's partial to longears.
Jake the Brabant and Smokey the Rocky Mountain Horse are always ready to say Hello. They have been buddies for several years now. Both are about 6 years old. Smokey will be at the Paradise Horsemen's show in April. Come by the booth and say Hi to him. Emily and Beth head for the lower well. Their pockets are full of treats for any hungry horses. Clouds over minis. Sounds like a Beatles' song, doesn't it?
The dark storm clouds rolled in this evening, then rolled right on by. Good bye clouds. You are beautiful, but we'd like at least a week of sunshine.
Look closely. Love is hiding in the grass, again. An interesting use of jelly beans and a vase.
Tomorrow Tawny and Jason- I mean Jonathan will arrive at Home At Last. Tawnee and maybe Jason will bring two old friends to live out their lives here. Tawny is an old horse -34- and his lifelong donkey friend is Jonathan -37- . The two can spend the summer enjoying the peace of the sanctuary. It makes our hearts happy to be able to give these boys a forever home. Would anyone like to sponsor these two old gentlemen? Any amount will help. Thank you.
Thank you Mary R, Ursula and Walt C and Lorie H for your donations. You help us to keep serving the horses.
