There are several days to catch up on. Isn't Lexi beautiful? She's shed off to a glistening black. There are a few tufts of long coat on her belly, but the rest of her shines. She's in a turn out with Navajo (below), Ruby, Chance, Pedro, Rico and Molly mule. They are a happy herd, mostly.

Love dog and Honey cat share a hello before chores start.

When Grace was sedated the other day because of her choke, there was a chance to groom her. Then Zoe dog got a trimming. The birds have been swooping down to get the hair for their nests.

Jonathan likes to be in on everything.
He is there when we feed, water, treat horses, trim feet. He is there when we sit down to rest. He follows us, horses, goats. Occasionally, he goes in to say hello to the calves. His coat is getting healthier and he really seems to enjoy life.
The goats like to play king of the mountain.

Jim called this picture the ruminating roommates.

Bobbie enjoyed some grazing time.

Braveheart is a beauty. He's about 25 years old and was at the auction waiting for the killer buyers. He loves to be out and about.
Friends, neighbors and volunteers make our job so much easier. Thanks, Steve, for the help with Coral Belle.

Here are some pictures of our volunteers on previous visits. Jenny and Beth head to the barn with treats.

Helen has had amazing success with Amira. Thanks, Helen.

Fiesty looks like he has horns.
Had a call tonight from Alicia. She is a wonderful person who helped out with a horse, then the owner left her with a gentle 30 year old quarter horse gelding . She needs to find a home for this great boy. Can anyone help her? 707-480-3349 We all need to help one another in these difficult times.
Thank you for the generous donation in memory of Moon Dancer's owner.

Oh, I forgot to tell you. Yesterday I went out at 6:45 AM to put on my boots and there was a man standing at the gate!!! Wow, I thought, someone is up and about earlier than we are. It was the census taker. Had a nice visit and got counted.
