The skies are so magnificent. The day was cloudy, muggy, and hot. It even rained when I fed tonight, but it was still hot.
The herd was ready to eat. Some stood in the warm sun waiting for the hay to arrive.

Jenny needed a dust bath before eating. Jessie is encouraging her to have one more good roll.

Way to go, Jenny. You look great covered in dust. Now you're ready for breakfast.
Almost everything at Home At Last is rescued Even our roses. Someone was throwing them away and a friend brought them to us. Maybe now that the oldies are penned, they will have a chance to grow and bloom without constant pruning.

A few flowers are blooming. Lots of seeds have been planted, but Jonathan has discovered the front. Shoo, Jonathan. Leave them alone. These beauties are going to get planted in the next couple of days. They'll need a safe place to be.

Julian-I am not a bucket head.
Banjoe- Yes,you are.
Julian- I am not.
Banjoe- OK, then. Turn around.
Julian- You're right. I am a bucket head.
Julian had been helping Rico finish his medicated grain when his head got stuck in the bucket. He waited patiently while the picture was taken, then we took it off.
